About Us

At Southwest FSG, we are proud to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our nation’s veterans by helping them navigate the often confusing VA claims process.

Our team is led by Roger Scott Brown, an Accredited VA Claims Agent recognized by the Department of Veterans Affairs (currently in process to be accredited - not charging veterans for assistance at this time). This accreditation means we are authorized to represent veterans, service members, and their families before the VA in pursuit of the benefits they’ve earned.

What We Do

Filing a VA claim can be overwhelming. We’re here to take the weight off your shoulders by:

  • Reviewing your case – We evaluate your service records, medical evidence, and prior claim history.

  • Filing claims and appeals – We prepare and submit VA paperwork, making sure deadlines are met and forms are accurate.

  • Gathering evidence – From medical opinions to buddy statements, we help secure the evidence needed to strengthen your case.

  • Tracking progress – We monitor your claim status with the VA and keep you updated every step of the way.

  • Advocating for you – Whether it’s a new claim, supplemental claim, Higher-Level Review, or appeal to the Board of Veterans’ Appeals, we’re in your corner.

Why Choose an Accredited Claims Agent?

Not everyone can represent veterans before the VA. Accreditation means we’ve been vetted, trained, and approved by the VA to handle claims ethically and effectively. By working with an accredited agent:

  • You know your representation is recognized by the VA. (currently in VA Claims Agent Application process and will not charge for assistance until that process is complete)

  • Fees are strictly regulated (capped at 20% of past-due benefits).

  • Your case is handled with professionalism and confidentiality.

At Southwest FSG, service doesn’t stop at claims work. A portion of all profits is donated to Ruck Up and Recover, our nonprofit dedicated to supporting veterans’ mental health through retreats, peer support, and community programs.
